Spending February In Turks and Caicos
February is a month of romance, and the Turks and Caicos is a perfect retreat for couples. While it may be cold and snowy wherever you are, it is warm here on Grace Bay Beach. On top of that, there are a number of events you can enjoy while you’re here.
Thursday Fish Fry
Occurring every Thursday in the Bight, near the west end of Grace Bay Beach, the Fish Fryhas become a Thursday tradition for many islanders who go for supper or begin their night out at the venue. If you go you’ll rub shoulders with local folks running in to collect bags of authentic Turks and Caicos cuisines to be take home to their families – island fast food!
Valentine’s Day Cup on Middle Caicos (February 18)
The Valentine’s Day Cup is an annual model sailboat race day on Bambarra Beach in Middle Caicos. Held in February each year, this event features a great lineup of model boats, food and music. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy this wonderful cultural festival. It makes for a great day trip from our resort.
Chocolate Lovers Showcase
Earlier in the month the Chocolate Lovers Showcase returned to The Palms Resort on Providenciales for it seventh edition on February 4th. This showcase is one of Providenciales’ most beloved and creative culinary events. It’s a chance to explore both the savory and sweet expressions of everyone’s favorite treat, chocolate. It’s all to benefit the Salvation Army, which provides a number of programs and services to help the less-fortunate on Providenciales.
